Welcome to UAB Organic Chemistry I SI!
I am Bliss Chang, a junior double majoring in Biochemistry and Biology. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be your SI Leader for Dr. Wang's Organic Chemistry I Fall 2013 classes that meet TR 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
What is SI?
Supplemental Instruction is a federal program designed to help students reinforce concepts taught in lecture. As your SI Leader, my job is to facillitate review sessions and mock exam sessions to help you succeed in class. Typical review sessions consist of working example problems based on worksheets targeted specifically for topics learned in the preceding lecture session. In addition to the two regular weekly SI sessions, any student is welcome to visit me during office hours to discuss anything!
Announcements
The review session for exam #3 will be in Education Building 128 Monday Dec. 2 from 7pm-9pm.
The final exam review session will be in Heritage Hall 126 on Sunday Dec. 8 from 2pm-5pm.
Many students from Dr. Nikles class has asked if they may attend; this is a great idea and I encourage anyone to attend!
